Joy Behar Shocked People When She Left The View; Now She Explains Why

The outspoken comedian and co-host turns 74 later in the year and has decided to put a run to her time on The View.

Back in 2013 Joy Behar told Dateline “it seemed like the right time…you reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate that I want to do.”

But the fiery co-host came back throughout 2013 and 2014 as a guest host before permanently taking back her spot on the panel in 2015.

At the time Joy was quoted as saying “just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in. Plus Steve was getting tired of applauding every time I gave my opinion. But I’m happy to be back home and I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics.”

Yet it appears her return was short lived, with Joy announcing she is leaving the show again, but this time there is a specific reason behind her departure.

“In 2013 I knew I wanted to do other things, but I didn’t know what that exactly was. I felt a little lost and ended up coming back to The View. But now I have a project that deserves my full attention and unfortunately that means I no longer have time for The View,” she explained.

You mean the View is still on? Such a waste of airtime! The old fools on that show telling people how to think.

Glad to see her go, she is a hateful person who hurts the political process.

I AM SORRY THAT SHE IS LEAVING THE VIEW. WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT TODAY SO WE LEFT
15 MINUTES EARLY TODAY AND THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE HEARD THAT SHE WAS LEAVING. I
ESPECIALLY ENJOY HEARING HER COMMENTS ON CLINTON VS TRUMP. SHE IS RIGHT ON AND HAS DONE HER HOMEWORK WHICH SHE TAKES SERIOUS. I AM GRATEFUL THAT SHE DOESN’T
MAKE JOKES ABOUT IT AND GIVES SERIOUS ANSWERS IN THIS SERIOUS TIME IN OUR HISTORY.

    Good riddance!

  7. David says:

No, Joy Behar was forced out because when Barbara was still in charge, there was at least the attempt of appearance of balance. Joy is a loud mouthed educated and indoctrinated idiot who in no way is or ever was relevant except to people who cannot think for themselves.

Joy, you are rocking your 74 years. Be blessed and good luck with your next endeavor. I will miss your sharp comebacks.

  9. Jmueller says:

The view should go off the air too! Nothing more than loud mouth aggressive liberal women and agendas!
